It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Angus Boyden announce his passing on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 101 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his son Gordon (Viola); daughters: Alvina, Theresa; grandchildren: Vivian, Cherie, Blair, Tony, Samantha, Cory, Virigina, Roy, Christian, Audrey, Cynthia, Kyle, Leona, Vickey, Jeffrey, Andrew, Anthony, Michael, Vaughan; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his wife Pamela; parents Loyal and Mary Boyden; daughters Matilda, Brenda; sisters: Essie, Dorthy and Hilda. Visitation will take place on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017 between 7 - 9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing. The funeral service will be held on Sat., Dec. 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s, NL with Rev. Canon Ruby Carter officiating. Interment in the Anglican Church Cemetery will take place following the service. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
