WILLIAM CECIL JACOBS Deer Lake, NL 1916-2011 Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. William Cecil Jacobs at the age of 95 years. William was the son of John and Gertrude Jacobs of Little Hearts Ease, Trinity Bay. He was predeceased by his grandson Richard King, brothers Walter and Lindsey, sisters Susie and Katy. He is survived by daughters: Judy, Diane and Beverley and their mother Verna (Drodge); grandchildren: John MacCallum, Alison Barrett, Nicole Williams, Kathleen Murray and Susan King; great-grandchildren: Calvin and Solomon Barrett, Jack MacCallum, Benjamin Herriott, Abigal and Molly Williams, Jamie, Katy and Liam King.. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A service will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the SPCA gratefully accepted. A very sincere thank you to the wonderful staff of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and staff at Deer Lake Foodland especially the bakery sisters Glennis William and Lorenda Cross and also friends Ivan Pittman and Bernard Schwartz. Funeral arrangements entrusted Fillatre’s Funeral Home. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
