It is with great sadness that the family of the late Carleton Foley announce his passing on Sunday, April 10th, 2005 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: His wife of 51 years, Geraldine (nee McHugh); 5 daughters: Carla (David) Wells, Debra (Ben) Simms, Sandra (Bob) Ryan, Colleen (Duane) Huxter, and Margaret (Brent) Critch, all residing in Corner Brook; 10 grandchildren: Andrew and Michael Simms, Jonathan Wells, Julia and Rebecca Ryan, Christopher and Nicholas Hurley, Ethan Huxter, Emily and Adam Critch; brother: Gerald (Dolores) Foley, Ottawa; sister Donalda (late Jack) Gatherall, St. John's; special friends: Tom and Elsie LaSaga, Corner Brook; as well as nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: John and Mary Foley, sister Diane and brother Jimmy. Friends may visit Fillatre's funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 13th at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Fr. Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Most Holy Redeemer Memorial Fund, Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation or to the charity of one's choice.
