FLORA MARY PIKE PORT AU CHOIX, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Flora Mary Pike announces her passing on Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Vera (Vincent), Darlene (Terry) Young, Wayne (Millicent), Bonnie, of Port Au Choix; Carl (Aileen), Pasadena; grandchildren: Terrilynn, Rebecca, Alexandra, Joshua, Justin, Colby, Jessie, Jamie, Christine and Lindsey; great grandchild: Isabella; mother: Kathleen Atkins; sisters: Mary, Gloria (Calvin), Beatrice, Jackie (Keith), Cynthia (Tom), Juanita (Gerald), Sharon (Sten); brothers: George, Felix (Beverly), Myles (Vange), Lowel (Margaret), Edgar (Joan) and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Mark; children: Madonna, Peter, Kathleen, Barry and Blenda; father: Fred; grandchild: Nicole; great grandson: Dominic. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will take place from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, February 5th at 11:00 A.M. Father Lee Lainey officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix.
