It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garfield Flowers announce his passing on Friday, January 14th, 2011 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's, NL at the age of 70 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sylvia; children: Brian (Marjorie), Shirley (Norman) and Kim, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and frineds. He was predeceased by his parents Chesley and Jessie Flowers; sister Millicent Martin; brothers: Chesley and Edward. The Funeral Service will take place from Hopedale Moravian Church on Thursday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Hopedale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
