It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that the family of the late Roy Spencer announces his passing on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Calder Health Care Centre in his hometown of Burgeo, NL. Roy was 55. Leaving to mourn with fond, loving memories, and stories are his wife Denise and daughter Caitlin, father Simeon Jr., brothers Calvin, Donald, and sisters Dorothy and Mildred (Chesley), parents in law Edgar and Dianne Billard, sister in law Tammy (Chesley), brother in law Todd, as well as a large circle of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by mother Annie Spencer, sister in law Sharon, father in law Thomas Billard, and his siblings Bernard and Mary.
Family and friends may visit St. John Evangelist Anglican church in Burgeo on Saturday from 7-9 and on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be on Monday, March 26 at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Elsie Rose officiating.
Interment to follow at a later date.
