It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pamela Mary Goudie announce her passing on Monday, December 6, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL, at the age of 54 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband, Gary; her sons, Jimmy Owens , Fort McMurray and Stephen Goudie, Deer Lake; her daughters, Mindy Langdon (Dean), Labrador City, Paula Langdon (Shane), Deer Lake, and Amy Wiseman (William), Churchill Falls; her precious grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Kristen, Brooklyn, Kendra, Taylor, Katie, Jena, Evan, Andrew, Caden and Claire; her mother, Alice Hinks, Deer Lake; her sisters, Joan Rice (Clarence), Corner Brook, Shirley Upshall, Bedford, NS, Gertie Tilley (Bruce), Deer Lake and Lavern White (Carl), Deer Lake; her brothers, Clarence Hinks (Lorraine), Corner Brook, Bernard Hinks (Jackie), Corner Brook and Todd Hinks (Erica), Pasadena; her father-in-law, Pearce Goudie and mother-in-law, Lorraine Goudie, Deer Lake; her sisters-in-law, Susan Croucher, Lois Henstridge (David), Lorinda Goudie (Kent) and Patti Lynn Goudie. She also leaves to mourn her lifelong and very special friend, Alice Goosney, her special cousin, Lynn Compton as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pam was predeceased by her father, Hugh Hinks in 1969. Visitation will be held at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Bennett Avenue, Deer Lake on Tuesday evening from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 9 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Wights Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent and will be gratefully accepted by Junior Andrews, founder of the project for construction of a school at the Village of Hope in Malawi, Africa.
