LEO WILLIAM GOULD Port au Choix, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo “Jake” Gould announce his sudden passing on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at his family residence in Port au Choix at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Ida; children: Andrea (Wayne) Gould, Brampton, Ontario, Tyson (Ashley), Grande Prarie, Alberta and Tanya, Brampton, Ontario; grandchildren: Gregory and Tristen; brothers: Raymond (Ellen), Bruce and John; sisters: Mary (Wes) Snyder, Yvonne Hayes, Clara (Ernie), Laura (James) Plowman, Paulette (Alfie) and Janice (Rick); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Charolette and sister Darlene. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic church on Thursday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
