It is with great sadness that the family of the late Pius Joseph Kavanagh announce his passing on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Labrador Health Centre, at the age of 78 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Irene; children: Lisa (Rodney), Beverley (Rick), Carl (Joanne); grandchildren: Jamie, Tyler, Krystal-Ann, Jenelle, Kristofer, Brittany, and Matthew; brother: Bill Kavanagh; sisters: Mame Grady and Ann Puddister as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving son Sheldon, parents William and Margaret, brothers Walter, Leo, Anthony, Robert, Randell, and jerome; sisters Catherine, Metilda, Evelyn, Jen, Veronica, Bridget, and Jeanie. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home , Goose Bay on Wednesday, March 21st from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday , March 22nd at 2:00 PM from Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, with Father Paul Kannampilly officiating with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. Special thanks to Labrador Grenfell Health nursing, doctors, and staff.
