Robert James PEDDLE Port Aux Basques, NL June 9, 1938 - September 11, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert James Peddle announce his sudden passing on Saturday, September 11th, 2010 at the LeGrow Health Centre in Port Aux Basques at the age of 72 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 50 years Nina Peddle; son Kevin Peddle, Greenwood, NS; daughter Paulette MacIsaac (Leon), Paradise; grandchildren: Jessica, Robert, Nicholas and Kara; brother William Peddle (Violet), Whitebourne; sister Annie Leyte, Lewisporte, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary Hannah Peddle of Whitebourne; brothers: Melon and Dola Peddle; sisters: Floss and Margaret. Visitation took place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Monday, September 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, September 14th at 3:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church. Interment followed at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill, Reverend Hanna Dicks officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted.
