JOSEPH H. COLLIER Corner Brook, NL March 16, 1921 - September 10, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph H. Collier announce his passing on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 67 years Florence (nee Brake); children: Linda Patey, Mary Loder (Peter Anderson), Sharon (Wilbert) Park all of Corner Brook, Wade (Lisa) Collier, Cambridge, Ont. And Paula (Glenn) Barry, Stephenville; grandchildren: John, Tammy, Marsha, Christopher, Ian, Scott, Rikki-Lee, Natasha, Ashley, Brittany and Jamie; great-grandchildren: Sarah, Katie, Emily, Braden, Summer, Stephanie, Kyle and Stephanie; sisters: Vivian (Cecil), Elizabeth, Pearl, Blanche (Gus), Alma (John) and Agnes “Susie”; special niece Dot (Curtis); special friend Marg; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Annie and Henry, a daughter in infancy, granddaughter Lisa Mary Patey, son-in-law Fred Patey, sister Minnie, brothers Jim, Cliff, Charlie and Tom. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints’ Anglican Church with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request of the family, donations may be made to All Saints’ Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
