Obituary of Sarah Marie Jennings-Daigle

Sarah Marie Jennings-Daigle 
November 9, 1987 – January 1, 2025 
Corner Brook, NL 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sarah Marie Jennings-Daigle announce her passing on January 1, 2025 in Corner Brook, at the age of 37 years. 

She leaves to mourn her husband: Yvon Daigle and fur babies: Meeka, Lilith, and Mr. Kitty; parents: Allan (Ted) and Karen Jennings; sister: Juliah Jennings (Tyler Kean); nephew: Spencer Kean; grandmothers: Florizel Jennings and Maxine Halfyard; mother-in-law: Eileen Daigle; father-in-law: Donald (Debbie) Daigle; sister-in-law: Marysa (Sebastien) Labrie; nephews: Gabriel and Michael, and niece; Ruby; uncles: Darrel (Marilyn) Jennings, Gordon Halfyard, Brian (Cindy) Halfyard; aunts: Mary Jennings, Sharon (Colin) Jennings, Anna-Marie (Sean) McCarthy, as well as a large circle of cousins and friends including The Goons.

Sarah was predeceased by her grandfathers: William Halfyard, Allan Bond Jennings; uncles: Gary Jennings, Ern Pilgrim; aunt: Marie Pilgrim, Marie Walborne, and Jean Brake. 

A visitation will be held at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook, on January 3, 2025, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Celebration of Life will take place at Fillatre Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:00pm with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society towards cancer research.
