BERNADETTE PENNEY Port Au Choix, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernadette Penney announce her passing on Monday, July 19th, 2010 at her family residence in Port Au Choix. She leaves to mourn her husband: Justin; daughter: Lillian (Keith); granddaughter: Summer; mother: Hazel; sister: Christine (Willard); brothers: Ambrose (Bev), Merlin (Brenda); nephews: Darren and Gordon; nieces: Bettina, Tammy, Tabbitha and Taylor; great niece: Shayla; great nephews: Austin and Tyrese; as well as large circle of other family and friends. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port Au Choix on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral service will take place from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
