John “Jack” Benjamin Seaward Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jack Seaward announce his passing on Saturday, July 17th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his sisters: Barbara (Walter) Rose, Labrador City and Claire (Bill) Stinnett, Washington State, USA; special niece: Evelyn Rose, Corner Brook and great niece, Maria Rose, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: George and Violet Seaward; brother: Harry Seaward; sister: Dorothy Seaward and great great nephew, Tameron Rose. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday evening, 7-9:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 21st at 11:00 A.M. from Fillatre’s Chapel, St. Marks Avenue. Reverend Derek Thomas officiating, with cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or charity of one’s choice.
