PARSONS Dorothy (nee Spracklin) Cormack, NL April 5th, 1926 - March 15th, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dorothy Parsons announce her passing on Tuesday, March 15th, 2005 at the J.I. O'Connell Centre in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her 5 sons: Randy, Gordon Jr. (Ada), both of Cormack, Wayne (Aggie), North Battle Field, Sask., Fred (Christine) and Robert (Minnie), both of Cormack; 8 daughters: Joan (Bob) Walkins, Deer Lake, Audrey (Glen) Crewe, Cormack, Violet (Willis) Luff, Cormack with whom she resided, Joyce (Carl) Robinson, Middle Arm, Green Bay, Lillian (Tom) Pearce, Cormack, Gayle (Manuel) Campbell, Joy (Leonard) Roberts, both of Charletown, Lab., and Penney (Francis) Budgell, Middle Arm, Green Bay; son-in-law Edgar Caines, Cormack; 35 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brothers: Cecil (Lucy) Spracklin, Deer Lake, William (Pearl) Spracklin, Spaniard's Bay and Benjamin (Marion) Spracklin, Brigus; sister Abbie (Ern) Walsh, Cupids; brothers-in-law: Frank (Ina) Parsons, Markland and Walter (Shirley) Parsons, St. Anthony; sisters-in-law: Genieve White, East Port and Elizabeth Monk, St. John's; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Gordon, 1998, daughter Dorothy Caines, 2004, grandchildren: Rowena and Aaron Parsons. Visitation will take place from the Pentecostal Church in Cormack today, Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 18th at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cyril Farewell officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Cormack. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted.
