Nadie Delilah Collier
April 9, 1946 – November 11, 2024

It is with profound sadness and shattered hearts that the families of the Late Nadie Delilah Collier (nee Pittman) announce her passing on Monday, November 11^th, 2024, at the Western Memorial Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook, NL in her 78^th year.

She will be sadly missed by her children Virginia (Chris), Christopher (Wannetta), Lois (Anthony), and Darren; grandchildren Stephanie, Adrian, Stephen, Troy, Ashley, Sapora, Sarah, Micheal, Tyrone, Emma, and Brady; great grandchildren Paxton, Kaycen, Delilah, Gracie, Callie, Benito, Joey, Noah, Bella, Jeffrey, and Charlie; siblings Baxter (Evelyn), Loretta (Calvin), Edith (Alonzo), Naomi, Jeanette, Willard (Natasha), Darius (Lisa), and Jerome (Hazel); sister-in-law Margaret; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Nadie was predeceased by her husband Bartholomew; daughter Delilah; grandson Jeffrey, parents Richard and Helen Pittman; brother Eldon; and nephew Kirk.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her home care team. Lana Parsons, Della Osmond, and Paulette Osmond who took such great care of Mom.

Her strength and integrity are lasting gifts she leaves to all who knew her. Nadie will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, and respect she had for her family and others. The love she generously shared as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend continues to inspire us. Though she is no longer with us, the beauty of her light lives on in the hearts of those who loved her and shared her life.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church in Pollard’s Point on Thursday, November 14^th from the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place on Friday, November 15^th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Fry officiating.
An interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
