SNOW Edward “Gordon” Deer Lake, NL July 9th, 1906 - March 14th, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Snow announce his passing on Monday, March 14th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in his 99th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter Myrtle (Harold) Harnum, Deer Lake; sons: Gordon (Doris), Stephenville, Claude (Veronica), Deer Lake and Calvin (Edwina), Corner Brook; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Minnie Pearl, April 26th (1997), sister Minnie Burton, brothers Clarence and Jack Snow. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake today, Wednesday from the hours of 7-9 PM and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 18th at 2:00 PM from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, Deer Lake with Pastor Terry Snow officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight's Road. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Gideon Bible Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
