Obituary of Bernadette Nui
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernadette Nui (nee Piwas) announces her passing at the Labrador Grenfell Health Centre in Goose Bay on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the age of 57.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband; David, children; Darryl, Daniel, Erin, Julia, Jacob and Brian, brothers; Tommy (Thea), Simon (Marie), sisters; Mary Ann, Rita (Andrew); as well as a large circle of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Bernadette was predeceased by her parents; Francis and Lucy, brothers; Pinip, Jack and Jean Marie, son; John-David and daughter; Manan.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A wake will be held in Natuashish on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, starting at 6:30 p.m. at her residence, 3 Nui Street.
The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Anne Tshukuminu Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish, with Bishop Bart officiating.
