CARD OF THANKS

The family of the late Melvin Carberry would like to extend our gratitude towards all who supported us during our time of sorrow.

Thank you for all the love and support during this extremely difficult time. We appreciate everything, and we will be forever grateful. From the beautiful flower arrangements, visits, stories, and comforting words, you will always be in our hearts.

Thank you to Rev. Jocelyn Cook for the beautiful prayer service.

Last but certainly not least, thank you to our wonderful Faith from Fillatre’s for being our angel. Your guidance and attention were exactly what we needed during our time of grief.

Melvin Carberry

July 13, 1943 - September 15, 2024

Irishtown - Summerside

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin Carberry announce his passing on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 81.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 48 years, Sharon; his daughters Lori (Terence) Parsons, Cheryl Gurba (Corey) ; His granddaughters, Claire Parsons, Emma Gurba, Gracie Gurba and his furry buddy, Sam.

Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday, September 19th from 2:30 - 4:30, followed by a prayer service at 4:30, with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating.

His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honoured to have had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
