July 24, 1933 - June 7, 2010
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Adams announce her passing on Monday, June 7th, 2010 at the Labrador Health Care Centre at the age of 76 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: William James Ikey, George Peter, Shirley, Anna Marie, Rick, Bernie, Tracy and Duane; sisters Sue and Marjorie; also her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Allan Adams; parents Charlie and Mary Ikey; brothers: Hugh and Charles. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay on Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place at the Pentecostal Church on Saturday, June 12th at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Interment will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Libra House, HV-GB. To all those who sent cards, food, prayers, laughter and best wishes, we thank you. (The Family)
