It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Wellman announce her passing at Labrador South Health Centre, Long Term Care Unit in Forteau on Wednesday, May 26th, 2010 at the age of 100 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, daughters Gladys and Doris Keats (Oswald); grandchildren Tania, Tracey, Troy and Tiffany; great-grandchildren Kali, Amie, Sonny and Logan, also the family of the late Cecil Wellman and Florence Sheppard, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James Wellman and parents Ishmeal and Joanna Critch. Visitors were received at the Forteau United Church on Wednesday and Thursday from where the Funeral Service took place on Friday, May 28th at 2:00 p.m. with Mrs. Loretta Hancock officiating. Interment followed in the United Church Cemetery in Forteau. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, L’Anse au Loup.
