RONALD JOSEPH BENNETT Pasadena, NL September 13, 1923 - June 6, 2010 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ronald Joseph Bennett announce his passing on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the O’Connell Centre, Corner Brook at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 58 years Melvina (Nee MacDonald); children: Linda Foote (Stewart), Frances Bennett (Scott), Melvina Snow (Don), Florence Pynn (Kevin), Danny Bennett (Fern), Cyril Bennett (Doris), Larry Bennett (Paula), Brian Bennett (Christine), Barry Bennett (Christina), Joe Bennett (Coralee) and Jim Bennett (Kelly); 22 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Alice Caines and Marie White; brothers: William (Jean), Lawrence, Gerald (Joyce), Donald, Albert (Christina) and Robert (Rhoda); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughters Mildred Glover and Laura Bennett, parents Israel and Margaret Benoit, brother Edward, sisters Mildred Beales and Mary Bennett. Friends may visit Holy Rosary Parish in Pasadena on Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 8 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gordon Grace officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Holy Rosary Parish or to a charity of one’s choice.
