It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Maxwell Leggo announce his passing on Friday, August 2, 2024 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 68 years. He leaves behind his children: Robert and Miranda; grandchildren: Laura and Alexis; sisters: Ruth Martin (Harvey) and Ada Hunter (Kent); brothers: Howard Leggo (Sharon) and Scott Leggo; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Shirley Leggo.
Gord loved the outdoors. He spent many hours hunting and fishing and especially loved tending to his gardens.
Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Tuesday, August 6 from 1:30-3:00 p.m. ending with a short prayer service, Rev. Cynthia Haines-Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
