It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Everett Preston with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his cherished daughter Sondra; sister Darlene Mahar (Leo); his loyal companions his fur babies Mack & Meika and a small circle of good friends. He was predeceased by his parents Everett and Catherine Preston.
Everett had great love for his family and dogs. As a teacher he had a thirst for knowledge and teaching young and older minds. He loved the great outdoors and spent many hours tending to his gardens. A special thank you to Dr. Grant and Dr. Pieroway for their care and compassion through this journey.
As per Everett’s wishes, cremation has taken place there will be no formal funeral service at this time. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the family.
