in St. James Cemetery,  Lark Harbour

with Reverend Effie Organ offciating.

All family and friends

Raymond Adrian Batt

December 14, 1946 – July 26, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Batt announce his sudden passing on July 26, 2024 at the Health Science Center in St. John’s at the age of 77.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Hazel of 46 years; one brother William (Marilyn), two sisters Ida and Hattie; sisters and brothers-in-law: Junior (Rose), Jerome (Marilyn), Robert (Wanda), Lyndon (Lisa), Cassie (Sam), Bernice (Warren).  Also leaving to mourn good friends Dean, Clarence, Shannon and Sammy; many nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Florence, mother and father-in-law Albert and Elizabeth Strickland; brothers-in-law: Mike Hall, Maxwell, Gerald, and Melvin Strickland; sisters-in-law Shirley (David) and Doreen (Bernard).

There will be no visitation or formal church service. Interment service to be announced.
