MALCOLM CASSELL St. Jude’s, NL November 9, 1921 … May 22, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Malcolm Cassell announce his passing on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Malcolm Baker, Shirley Knowls (Dave), Gary Cassell (Velda), Ida Tourout, Iris Marcotte (Allan Eriksson), Golda Cassell, Donna Cassell (Glen Anstey), Glenn Cassell (Donna), Glenda Earl (Bill), Susan White (Gary), Christopher Cassell and Gina Knap (Rick), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friends Lucinda and Joan George; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Doris Cassell (nee Baker), parents Joseph and Lucy Cassell, sister Melina and brother Andrew. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
