August 9, 1921 – June 22, 2024

It is with heavy hearts the family of Annie Vivian Brake (nee Hulan) announce her passing, on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing at the age of 102 years.

She will be forever loved and missed by her sons Gerald (Jennifer), Terry, Darcy (Tracey), daughters Cavell (Bob) Larsen, Carolyn (Fred) Hunt, daughter-in-law Verna, son-in-law David Gill, 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sister Una (Don) Gillam, sisters-in-law Mary and Roma, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

For many years, Annie Vivian was an active member of the ACW and Three Rivers Lioness Club. She loved to crochet, knit, sew, and bake.

She was pre-deceased by her parents Jeremiah and Ellen Hulan, husband Murdock,sons Sterling and Rodney, daughters Wanda and Glenda, grandson Chadwick, brothers Ellis, Jim, Rodney, George and Jerry, sisters Elvena, Ruby, and Pearl.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasedena, NL. 

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at St. George's Anglican Church in Robinson's, NL with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in McKays.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in her memory to the St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s, NL.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
