It's been 2 weeks since we lost my Dad. There are no words to describe the void in our family. He was the best Father and most amazing Poppy. I'll cherish every beautiful memory over the last 40 years. I would give absolutely anything to have 40 more. Love and miss you forever Daddy. Until we meet again.

Pam, children, grandchildren, all Tony's family and friends, I was deeply saddened to hear of Tony's passing. He was a wonderful person, a devoted family man who loved his family dearly. Tony and I done the PCA course together. Along with the rest of the class we had many laughs, lunches, great times, and a few frustrating ones too. Tony was always so helpful to everyone. He had an ugly stick made for me, something I will cherish forever. He's gone way too soon. RIP Tony.. keeping you all in my prayers. I am out of town and can't attend his funeral. My heart is there.

I have so many memories of Uncle Tony that it would be hard to pick just one, so instead I would like to speak to his character.
I’ve been away for over 30 years now, and every time I came home with out fail Tony would make sure I had some Newfoundland treat to take back with me, stuffed squid, moose meat, trout or lobster, he would always make sure I’d have some.
He also had a foolish side, if you knew him I guarantee you could hear that giggle.
He loved children too, whenever my girls came home with me he had to take them for a night.

Theres a good few, but here’s my favorite ones. It amazed me how he’d dance a red devil around rocks on the bottom of serpentine lake. How he used to say Basha you got some big ears. Sneaking him a slug of rum when Pam wasnt looking. Them’s good memories in a unique way.

The first time I met Tony, I walked into his living room wearing Pamela's Winnie the Pooh house coat. With a big grin and a hearty laugh, he said, "Ha Ha Ha, who's you by, and do ya want a coffee?" That single moment encapsulates Tony perfectly: selfless, generous, and kind-hearted. Tony wasn't just my father-in-law; calling him that would be an understatement. From the moment we met, our journey to becoming best friends began.
We did everything together, from hunting and fishing trips to little projects around the house or at the cabin. Tony was the center of our family, and everyone naturally gravitated toward him, especially his grandkids. They were like his little shadows, each having a unique and special bond with him. He always sought to encourage their interests and support their passions.
Tony's essence was humble and honorable, and words fall short of fully capturing the depth of his character. He enriched our lives in countless ways, and his legacy of kindness continues to guide us. In remembering Tony, we celebrate a life lived with unconditional love, laughter, and generosity—a life that left a mark on us all. Until we meet again skipper tone, love and miss you always.

Tony was blessed with a spirit that personified gentleness. Growing up together and going to school Tony had a smile that was constant - he was genuine and authentic and even though we had not seen each other for many years we connected over our love of our kids and grandkids. There are so many memories, even as a young, young girl that I remember. I remember Uncle Tony taking me fishing.. I caught three trout and he didnt catch not a one lol he was so proud though ❤️ then catching frogs and he let me keep them in buckets at his house.. swinging on the swingset out back, him coming out to tell me to slow down before I flipped it over.. playing by the brook next to the house, I always wanted to be with him and of course Aunt Pam ❤️ then when we moved home when I was older, I stayed with them for the rest of the school year. I remember him picking up me and mom from the airport on our trip home.. he was always there for everyone, and Adeline dearly loved him as well. Life is just never going to be the same without him. I know he is looking down watching us all now and forever, still taking care of us ❤️

Tony and myself have known each other mostly during our time at St. Pius X Elementary and High School from the mid 1960’s to the late 1970’s. We were on the same junior basketball team and senior basketball team.
The one event that I can recalled of our friendship is the time after school was done that I was introduced to, “ Fried up cod tongues” by Tony’s mom while they were living in the old Advocate Mine Apartments during elementary school days.
Tony showed his hospitable side during those early days and had continued to do so up until his recent passing.
When I first hear about his passing; I broke down and wept. I will really miss you my True Leafs fan. Rest in peace my friend.
