It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jake Crocker announces his passing on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 80 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Theresa (nee Ducey); daughter: Joanne (Greg) Collins; two grandsons: Joseph and Mark; sisters: Marilyn Avery and Vernetta McKenna; brothers: Ingram (Emma), Aubrey and David (Sheila); sister-in-law: Lizeta Fitzpatrick and brother-in-law: James Ducey (Ailsa); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Andrew and Laura and brother, Leonard. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 11th at 10:30 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue followed by interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery, Father Ambrose Hynes officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
