Francine “Dianne” Wilkins (nee Milley) Corner Brook, NL The family of the late Francine Dianne Wilkins sadly announces her passing on Friday, May 7th, 2010 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness. Dianne leaves behind her husband and best friend of many years, Roy; her daughters: Jodi and Barbra (Calvin Downton); her son: David (Darlene); and two wonderful granddaughters: Madison Wilkins and Grace Downton. Dianne will also be missed by her sister Bobbie and her husband Don Pardy; her brother Bill Milley and his wife Lorraine; and sister-in-law Barbara Wilkins; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Dora Milley. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Tuesday from 7-9 PM. A celebration of Dianne’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 12th, at 2:00 P.M. from Fillatre’s Chapel, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, with interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Rev. Marilyn Avery officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or a donation may be made to the Shriner’s of Corner Brook, or a charity of one’s choice.
