Obituary of Johannes Toma
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Johannes Toma announce his passing on May 23rd, 2024, at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, NL at the age of 64 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his common law spouse: Mary Ann Pokue; grandson: Cole Piwas; nieces: Christine Toma, Anne Marie Toma, Alberta Toma and Julianne Toma; great nieces: Sunshine, Shannon, Patricia, Sarah, Candace, Joy, Mary Theresa, Melody, Alice; great nephews: Nehemiah, Ashton, Shelton, Patrick, Nathan, Abraham and Carter; as well as many other extended relatives and friends.
Johannes was predeceased by his parents: Joseph and Mary Toma; and sister: Anne Philomena Toma.
A visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Sunday, May 26th, 2024, from 7:00-9:00 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, at 1:00 pm from the Roman Catholic Church in Natuashish, NL. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
