MURPHY Dr. Noel Francis Corner Brook, NL WWII British Air Force It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dr. Noel Francis Murphy announce his passing on Thursday, March 10th, 2005 at The Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 89 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Gerine (David) Collingwood, Corner Brook, Edwina Martin (Hugh Ledrew), Nova Scotia; grandchildren: Wendy Martin (Paul Mackenzie), Nova Scotia, Jacqueline Penney (Derrick Batten), St. John's and Jennifer (Travis) Penney-Chaulk, Fox Trap; great-grandchildren: Megan, Stephen, Jordan, Isaac and Luke; sister Maureen Myers, Massachusetts; nephew Kenan Myers, Massachusetts; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Edna, parents Dr. John and Elsie and sister Patricia. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14th at 10:30 AM from Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Cathedral with Father Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation to follow at Dr. Murphy's request.
