Obituary of Katie Nuna

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Katie Nuna announce her passing on May 4th, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 70 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Paula, Kenny, Anne, Paul, Simon, Matthew and Simone; grandchildren: Troy, Blaine, River, Trenton, Etienne, Tracey, Melissa, McKenzie, Landon, John, Devin, Davianna, Joel, Rapheal, Natesha, Dyson, Kenneth, Luke and Bradley and 12 great grand children: siblings: Annette, Donald, Stella, Theresa Andrew Sr; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Katie was predeceased by her birth parents: Daniel Pone and Phyllis Pone (Andrew); her foster parents: Simon (Shimun) Pone and Anne Pone: her siblings: Apenam, Judy, Bernadette, Gregory, and Mina.

A wake will be held at 81 Mackenzie Street, Sheshatshiu, NL on Tuesday, May 7th, 2024, starting at 8:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8^th, 2024, from the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL at 1:00 pm with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
