Douglas Thomas Joyce
May 19, 1932 – April 28, 2024
Corner Brook, NL

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Thomas Joyce announce his passing at the Western Long Term Care Home Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the age of 91 years. He was well known in Western Newfoundland for his dedication to his work.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sister: Lorna (Anthony); children: Donna (Reg deceased), Vicky (Phil), Gary (Bonnie); grandchildren: Michelle, Michael, Jagger; great-grandchildren: Reid, Jaxxon, Zack, and Tegan.

Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Health and to Douglas’s homecare workers in Norris Point.

As per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA.
