February 19, 1940 – April 24, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cassie Allen announce her passing on Wednesday, April 24^th, 2024 at Western Long Term Care, Palliative unit at the age of 84 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Kim (Jeff), Maxine (Derek) and Patty (Kirby); grandchildren: Jennifer, Kirsten, Cole, Kyra, Kyle and David; one precious great granddaughter Cassie; brother,  Marden (Joan), sisters-in-law Pansy, Vi, Linda, Shirley, Ina, Jean and Rhonda, brother-in-law Calvin, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Maxwell; parents Ronald and Elsie Luff; sisters Marjorie, Ruby, Jessie and brothers Eric, Ronald and Sydney.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Palliative Care unit, your caring and kindness did not go unnoticed.

Granting her wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday evening from 7- 9 P.M. The funeral service will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday, April 26^th at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Soper officiating. The interment will follow at Mt. Patricia cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA or to the local Food Bank.
