BUTT Norma (nee Nichols) Deer Lake, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Norma Butt announce her passing on Saturday, March 5th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving husband Joseph; sons: Archie (Angela) Butt, Reidville, Tom (Christina) Butt, Deer Lake; daughters: Cathy Janes, Fort McMurray, Joanne (Nolan) McKay, Deer Lake, Myra (David) Upward, Ottawa; 12 grandchildren;7 great-grandsons; brothers: Reg (Marion) Nichols, Corner Brook, Ralph (Julia) Nichols, Deer Lake; son-in-law Glenn Pearcey, Pasadena; dauthter-in-law Inez Cross, BC; brothers-in-law: Jack Butt, Pasadena, Gordon Gushue, Deer Lake; sister-in-law: Florence Mclanson, Calgary, Ruth (Edgar) Legge, Pasadena; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by parents: Norman and Hannah; son David; daughter Kerry; son-in-law Stan; sisters: Ruby (Carl) Hussey, Blanche (Roland) Penney; brother-in-law Reg (Bride) Butt; sisters-in-law: Sadie Gushue and Mary Butt; mother and father-in-law: Harry and Annabel. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake today, Monday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 8th at 10:30 AM from St. Paul's United Church, Deer Lake with Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Paul's United Accessible Church Fund, 17 Sprice Street, Deer Lake, NL, A8A 2C2 or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
