Remembering Patricia (Patsy) Mary Cramm
February 11, 1953 – April 15, 2024
It is with the greatest sadness that the family of Patricia (Patsy) Mary Cramm announce her peaceful passing surrounded by those she loved on April 15, 2024, at the age of 71 years.
She is pre-deceased by her loving husband of forty-eight years, Doug; her parents Raymond and Isabella Sheppard; parents-in-law Arminius and Gladys Cramm; her sister Lila Sheppard; brother Ronald Sheppard; brother-in-law Calvin Cramm; sister-in-law Lorraine Cramm; brother-in-law Joseph McCarthy.
She will be always sadly missed by her daughter Rhonda (Steve), her son Troy (Jennine); her precious grandchildren, Keegan, Brody and Gracie; siblings: Freeman, Melvin (Alma), Barbara (Ches) and Mona. She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many personal friends.
Patsy was a devoted loving wife and a proud mother. Her kindness and easy-going manner made her a special individual who had a great love for those she shared her life with. Her family and friends meant everything to her, as her spirit was lifted when she was surrounded by them. Patsy’s home was always a warm and welcoming place and the many acts of kindness she showed was deeply appreciated and will always be remembered. Patsy was gifted in many ways but her greatest gift was her sense of humor. The sound of her laugh was like sunshine to the soul. Her cooking was a talent enjoyed by many in her lifetime. Her lemon pies, homemade bread and boiled raisin cakes are legendary as Kevin and the Mounties can attest to. She loved gathering with her friends to play cards, yahtzee and bingo at any time of the day or night.
We marvelled at the courage Patsy displayed in the many health challenges she faced over the years. Her spirit sustained her with dignity. Patsy lived life to the fullest. She will go on living in the hearts and minds of her children, her family and her friends.
We wish to extend gratitude to Dr. Qureshi, Dr. Dwyer and the ICU nursing staff for their kind and compassionate care. Also, our sincere thanks to her most special friend, Elizabeth Delaney, who was like a sister to her. They shared the ups and downs of life, always with laughter.
We will cherish her testament of a life well lived. Her legacy will live on in all those who were touched by the spirit, humor, and humanity of this incredible woman. She would have liked our memories of her to be happy ones. We were so fortunate to have had her leave a great impression on our lives. She is now with the angels and the love of her life.
To honor Patsy’s wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
Donations in her honor may be made to the Bay St. George Sick Children’s Foundation.
