Toby Adam Legge

Stephenville Crossing, NL

November 21, 1979 – March 30, 2024

It’s with broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother, and nephew, Toby Adam Legge , at the age of 44 years passed peacefully away with his mom and family by his side, on March 30, 2024.

Toby fought a courageous battle with many life long health conditions for most of his life, and a strong fight until the end, he was a trooper.

Toby was predeceased by his dad Andy Legge, his grandparents Sarah and Robert Legge, and Marina and Melvin Shears, his uncle Steward Shears, and Aunt Carolyn Shears-Downey.

Toby will be deeply missed, and is survived by his mother and stepfather Donna and Larry Hueser (Alberta); his brothers Brady Hueser (AB) and Allan Legge (NS), step mother Helen Legge (NS) also his aunts and uncles, Della (St. David’s), Samantha Joy (Eugene) of (CBS), uncles Warren, Darryl (St. David’s), Cory (Roxanne) (Stephenville), Chris (Norma) (N.S.), as well as many great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to Toby’s long-term care workers at Bay St. George Long Term Care (Chronic Care Unit) for the care, love and support.  Each and everyone held a special place in Toby’s heart.  Thank you to Dr. Lambswood and management and staff at Bay St. George Long Term Care.

In honor of Toby’s wishes cremation has taken place.

Visitation on Monday, April 1, 2024, 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.  Interment on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 1:00 p.m. at the Anglican Cemetery in Robinson’s with Rev. Norman Cutler officiating.
