It is with great sadness and broken hearts the family of the late Edgar Angus Billard of Burgeo, formerly of Grand Bruit, announce his passing at the Calder Health Care Centre on Monday, March 4, 2024 at the age of 77 years.  Leaving to mourn  with fond and loving memories are his wife of 45 years, Diane; daughters Denise (Stewart), Tammy (Ches) and son Todd; grandchildren, Andrew (Santana) and Caitlin (Andrew); brothers and sisters, Edna Billard, George (Linda) Billard, Wes (Vera) Billard, Bruce (Marilyn) Billard, Calvin (Louise) Billard, Cyril (Madeline) Billard, Allister Billard, Clara (Max) Vautier, Mona (Calvin) Parsons, Dianne (Jim) Hare, Gertie Cook; In-laws, Mary (Eric) Foote, Roy Billard, Larry (Barb) Rhymes, Janet (Doug Porter), and very large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Edgar was predeceased by his parents Robert and Clara, sister Sheila Billard; son-in-law Roy Spencer, brothers and sisters-in-law, George Billard, Loretta Billard, Lana Cook, Harold Rhymes, Louise (Ron) Warren, Dorothy Hollett, Donnie (Gloria) Rhymes; father-in-law Eric Rhymes.

Edgar was born February 9^th, 1947, and spent his life in his beautiful community of Grand Bruit. A Man of very few words and a master of all. He loved the outdoors; he was a man who always stuck to a schedule and the same routine everyday. He always had plenty of time and was never in a hurray. His family was his world, especially his grandchildren, they always knew Pop could either fix it or make all perfect.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to all family and friends, ICU Unit at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook and Calder Health Care, Burgeo for the care he received recently and over the past few years. Cremation has taken place in trust to Fillatre’s Funeral Home. A service will take place at a later date.
