It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alexander Ashini announce his passing on February 29th, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 62 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers: Jean Pierre Ashini and Jean Baptiste Ashini; his sisters: Helen Mary Ashini, Caroline Ashini Rich, and Philomena Andrew Nuna as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alexander was predeceased by his parents: Mary Agatha and Jean Baptiste Ashini; and sister: Celina Ashini.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, starting at 6:00 pm at 13 Tsheniss Street, Sheshatshiu, NL.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4th, 2024, at 11:00am from the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL.
