Obituary of Lois Cornelia Gould

April 20, 1963 - February 27, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family of Lois Gould (Decker) announce her passing on February 27 th 2024. Lois leaves to mourn the joy of her life, her son Brian, the love of her life her husband Monty, friend and mother Irene, loving brother Carl and special aunt Ella.

Lois’s life revolved around family, she cared for her family and friends with an outpouring of generosity and kindness. Lois always put others first, she gave from the heart and those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her world felt that love. Lois’s personality filled any room she stepped in, her sense of humor and joyous laughter were contagious. Lois’s memory lives in the hearts and minds of anyone that met her and we will never forget someone who gave us so many memories.

Lois was predeceased by her father Lloyd Decker, cousins Barry Tulk, and Larry Payne, her aunt Gladys and uncle Dave, father -in-law Romeo Gould, mother-in-law Maturine Gould, sister-in-laws Dessa Payne and Leona Plowman.

The loss of Lois was completely unexpected and her family is profoundly saddened. The family appreciate the many expressions of kindness and concern during this difficult time.

Donations can be made to The French Shore Academy breakfast program or the charity of one’s choice.

Cremation will take place and a funeral service will follow.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 @ 2 pm, St. Theresa Catholic Church, Port au Choix, Nl.
