It is with great sadness that the family of the late (Amy) Margaret Emelda Benoit announce her passing on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 74 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Andy (Carol Ann) Jesso, Aaron (Elsie) Jesso, Cordelia (Cordell) Harding and Kimberly Thornton; grandchildren: Nicole, Aaron C, Samantha, Paulo, T.J., Cara, Audri, Darian and Mitchel; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sister: Clifton (Bea), Damian (Dinah), Patrick, Peter and Venice; as well as a large circle of extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John Edward and Genevieve Benoit, sisters and brother Mary Loyola, Greg and Josie. Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal visitation or funeral service at this time.
