FINTON JOSEPH GAUDET Sr. Corner Brook, NL September 27, 1944 - April 2, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Finton Joseph Gaudet Sr. announce his passing on Friday, April 2nd, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 65 years. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Eva (Brake); sister Margaret; father-in-law Walter Marsh; brothers-in-law Roger, Raymond and Pat; sister-in-law Maureen. He is survived by his Guardian Angel, his wife of 42 years Mildred; son Finton (Joan), daughters: Teena (Darren) and Carol Ann (Rod); grandchildren: Marcus, Katie, Alyssa, Evan and Madison; brothers: Edward (Pat) and David; sisters: Lorna (Tommy) and Doris (Gord); mother-in-law Evelyn; brothers-in-law: Robert, Gordon, Claude (Olive), Leonard (Madeline), Howard (Anne) and Phillip, sisters-in-law: Barbara, Monica (Gary) and Connie (Raymond), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday and Sunday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will he held on Monday, April 5th at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Derek Thomas officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to All Saints’ Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
