It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sadie McCarthy announce her passing on Sunday, January 18, 2004 at the Health Science Centre, St. John's, at the age of 69 years. Leaving to mourn with very fond and laving memories is her husband and life partner of 52 years, Jerome, six devoted children; Wayde (Victoria), Martha (Roy), Robbie (Christina), Fay (Glenn), Harold and Pat~ three cherished grandsons; Stephen, Robert and Austin; her parents; Frances and Robert Joyce, one precious sister, Sue Alyward (Carl), three brothers, Dave (Nina), Mike (Madonna), and Francie (Mary), long rime friends Jen, Lucy and Janie, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Stephen. 1954 and sister Rita Vincent, 2003. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held an Thursday, January 22nd, at 10:30 AM. tram Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Benoit' s Cove, officiated by Fr.
