EDWARD ALBERT KAYS CURLING, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Kays announce his passing on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife of 55 years: Kathryn (Kay); children: Linda Randell (Brian), Edwina Mesiano, Kathy Cashin (Jim), Edward (Eva), Vicki Butt (Morris) and Chris (Michelle); grandchildren: Joey Cashin (Stephanie), James Cashin (Stephanie Mosher), Katie Cashin, Heidi Randell (Craig Eveleigh), David Randell (Felishia), Sarah Butt (Tyler Bennett), Christina Butt (Jacob O’Brien), Jonathan Butt (Faith Parsons), Eddie Kays, Stephen Kays, Aaron Burkhart, Lance Kays (Amanda) and Candace Kays; great grandchildren: Sabian and Layla; sisters: Catherine Vanderberry (Jim) and Josephine Butler (Glenn); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his daughter: Judy Elizabeth; parents: Albert and Mariam Kays; brothers: Joseph and Victor (Gertrude and Vic Jr.). Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place from Humber Valley Crematorium. There will be no visitation. A Memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, April 1st at 10:30 A.M. from Sacred Heart Parish, Curling. Father Bernard Buckle officiating. Interment to follow at the family plot, Mt. Cecilia Cemetery, Curling. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
