Ronald (Ron) Strickland
March 25th, 1933 September 9th, 2023
Passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2023 at the age of 90 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s.
Leaving to mourn are his wife, Rose, children Kenny (Carolyn), David (Kathy), Norma (Craig), Don (Cathy), Kevin (Samantha), Kurtis (Stephen) and Tracy (Jason) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ron was predeceased by first wife, Clara (September, 1997), daughter, Doris (July, 2013) and brother Leslie (1999).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 4th Floor North at the Health Sciences Centre for the care and compassion they provided during the final weeks of his life.
Visitation: Wednesday, September 13th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Carnell’s Funeral Home. Funeral Service: Thursday, September 14th, 3:00 p.m. at Carnell’s Funeral Home, St. John’s.
Graveside Service: Saturday, September 16th, Non Denominational Cemetery, St. George’s, NL at 10:00 a.m.
