It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Childs announce her passing on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at the Calder Health Centre at the age of 67 years. Annie leaves to mourn her husband, best friend and soul mate, Wilfred; sisters: Alma (Albert), Louise (Calvin), Melinda (Douglas); brothers: Freeman (Brenda), Richard (Eileen) and John; brothers and sisters-in-law: Maude, Una, Robert (Betty) and Adolphus (Kayla); a large circle of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Jacob and Mable Anderson, sisters Minnie, Hilda (George); brothers Albert and Stanley (Mary), parents-in-law Robert and Ida Childs; sister-in-law Edith.
Visitation will take place on Friday, September 1st at St. John the Evangelist Church, Burgeo from 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, September 2nd at 2:00 p.m; with Reverend Deacon Brenda Strickland officiating. Interment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
