It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ryan Christopher Worthen announce his passing on Wednesday, February 24th, 2010 in Deer Lake at the age 28 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Marilyn Cooper; father Elliott Worthen (Paulette); sister Lori Worthen Fiander (Troy); niece Hayley Wright, nephews: Dustin Wright and Curtis Fiander; grandmother Harriett Cooper; aunt Phyllis Moores; uncles: Don Cooper and Gary (Catherine) Cooper; cousins: Terri Moores, Michael Cooper, Janice Cooper and Deanna Welke; special friends: David Healey (Stacey) and David Healey Jr., as well as a large circle of other relatives and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather Ward Cooper, and grandparents Vincent and Barbara Worthen. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Friday and Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 28th at 1:30 PM from the Salvation Army Citadel with Majors Wayne and Betty Ann Pike officiating. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, High Street. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.
