Obituary of Amelia Mary Hynes
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amelia Hynes announce her passing on Saturday, February 19th, 2005 at the Interfaith Home at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons, Roy and his wife Rita, Saskatchewan and Gordan and his wife Bessie, Curling, 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren anad 6 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Agnes Langer, sister-in-law, Jean Hynes, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Clayton, daughter, Gertrude and husband, Daniel Young, granddaughter, Marie Young, great-granddaughter, Jessica Brown and half-sister Elsie Kearsey. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, at 2:00 p.m. from Curling Memorial United Church, Mrs. Mary Brenson officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Atlantic Cerebral Palsy Association, 90 Mt.
