GRACE GASLARD (Nee Mahar) September 27th, 1945 - February 18th, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Grace Gaslard announce her passing on Thursday, February 18th, 2010 at the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital in Antigonish, Nova Scotia at the age of 64 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her spouse Ben Greene; children: Tina Gaslard, Ontario, Sylvia (Mark) Myers, Alberta, Gail (Dwayne) Ward, Pasadena and Lloyd Gaslard (Christine Clouter), Port au Choix; grandchildren: Judea Dobbin, Shelley Dobbin (Mark Prevost), Della Gaslard, Mark Myers Jr., Dion Ward, Dwayne Ward Jr. And Stephen Ward; great-grandchild Anjolie Prevost; sisters: Carrie (Ben) Maynard, Corner Brook and Sylvia Smith, Springdale; brothers: William (Denise) Gould, Ottawa and Ray Mahar, British Columbia, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Alvin and Annie Mahar, twin brother Lloyd and brother Lorne Mahar. Friend may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix on Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 11:00 AM from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
